Star Systems is Declan’s baby!  Declan is still fascinated by the fact that you can send sound and picture through various media.  His entrepreneurial and technical skills have developed the business in the three areas of audio, video and communications. With his passion for high quality, Declan likes to give value to customers. Declan certainly has a way with people, enjoys a challenge and his favourite is last minute solutions.

Goals: World Peace and to find Unbreakable Radiomikes!

Qualifications:
Declan studied Electronics and Telecommunications in NIHE (Now UL) and LIT in the late 1970s and 1980s

LIZ O’SULLIVNAN / DIRECTOR 086 8228337

Liz studied Art in Crawford in Cork during the 80’s and when she teamed up with Declan combined the visuals with technology and became a Videographer.
Liz grew up with a love of music and never missed the Sunday afternoon Musical on TV.  Star Systems has given her the opportunity to develop both skills and she doesn’t know which she prefers the most!!.
She now has 25 years experience as a Sound Engineer and Videographer

Goals: To have more space!

PADRAIG NOLAN / VIDEO PROJECT MANAGER 087 3622728

Padraig has been working with Star Systems for 10 years and has never been late!!! He first formed an interest in videography at the age of 7 when he used to make television cameras out of shoeboxes, superglue and cardboard. He has a vast amount of experience in visual media and Padraig thinks that he is very lucky to have lots of variety in his work, "I think it’s great to be able to sit in an edit suite editing one day and go out on location to shoot on another. You never get tired of the work.”

Goals: To finalise the transition to High Definition and solid state recording. He believes it will change Video Production for the better and make his job so much easier!!

FRANK MOLLOY/ AUDIO/VIDEO ENGINEER 086 3761730

Frank is the newest addition to the star systems roster joining in may of 2008 after finishing his studies in digital media Technology and audiovisual media technology  in IADT Dun Laoghaire.
Since his arrival he has tried his hand in every field of star systems and with an intense interest in music and modern technology from a young age he has always been a Techie at heart.
Being a drummer and playing in many bands Through-out his teenage years frank became Interested in live sound and PA's very quickly, putting on many concerts for local bands both in Thurles and Rockwell college.
After spending his childhood taking apart any electronic device he could find, he now enjoys doing this as a career since he eventually figured how to put them back together again.

Goals: To pass my driving test!

Dominik describes himself as a Sound Engineer, Sound Director, Technician Director and manager and yes he does all that and more!  Dominik joined Star Systems in Oct 2007 and became more Star Systems than Star Systems itself!  He had much experience in Poland with mixing and mastering live concerts and was a part of a leading sound engineering team in Akademickie Radio Centrum UMCS.  He may be born in Poland but we think he’s Irish at heart!
